Due to popular demand, its back, bigger and better!!!! bigger for sure, better is your opinion. After the photo shoot, while I was editing the photos (which mainly entails cleaning the wall of finger prints, food or other dirt). I realised that it is not a surprise I like the roughness of the screen printing Look at the roughness of the house! That is a polite way of putting it.
The door which photographes so well is pretty much hanging of its hinges, I have realised I will have to find another home for it, so I can keep using it as a background.
*PING* PING* new project... where can I fit a collapsing door in where David doesn't see it or so at least he doesn't have a fit himself... table mmm.. something for the kids ... this must go on ideas page. *PING* PING*
This is at the printing press... where I spent all easter producing work.... with this print though, I think the mistake is the winner.. the colours are less intense. the print is effectively hanging in the bedroom. I am reluctant to sell it. What a rubbish business woman I make. But it has given me an idea to start selling them as GICLEE prints, the touch will be different, but
- I can print on demand
- no need for limits in numbers (I can become Kath Kidston or Steve Jobs of bright colours)
- my kids might start calling me mama again, and not calling my friend Amy their favourite mama.
- They will be cheaper and I can keep on printing mistakes in the press and reproduce the very best one. (the one on my wall effectively)
- I am really bad at reproductions... I am a bit clumsy, though I call it enthusiastic. (similar to my thoughts on dents and scrapes on the car, they are memories of events! I have a lot of memories of the IKEA car park). I can experiment with ideas instead.
just to show you how glamourous my photo shoots are:
