I have signed up for a printing course at the Omega Centre in Portsmouth. Especially with the uncertainty of the Badger Press I don't want to be stuck for printing. The course is run by Mary Stephens. By having a go at different types of printing (lino, collograph, dry point and monoprint), I have realised the screen printing really is my big favourite. The course gives me a chance to be really experimental and try to be free, not sure how free you can be screen printing and my education in Architecture has really been thorough which makes 'letting go' really really hard. I have started experimenting with trying to create deliberate mistakes and using very transparent ink.
